A spot Bitcoin ETF has just been approved and you melt your entire portfolio into XRP…

Firstly, I want to highlight the shifting sands in Washington DC that made this about-turn possible…

Crypto has begun to shape elections

May has been a wild Month, even by Crypto standards…

And for Gary Gensler of the SEC & Elizabeth Warren, it has gone from bad to worse

If you weren’t aware, Elizabeth Warren (a powerful sitting US Senator), is a leading advisor of Biden’s financial policy and is the architect of the “Anti-Crypto Army”

With Gensler and Warren in cahoots, they have chosen to thwart the Crypto industry at every turn

So…

After a wildly successful Bitcoin ETF, and an increasingly polarised political climate, anything Ethereum was relegated until after the US Presidential election

All reports coming out of the SEC were - No chance lance in May.

But then this happened….

And then this…

High ranking Democrats crossed the aisle to vote with Republicans to repeal an act, SAB 121, that actively hindered greater corporate adoption of crypto in the US

A repeal, that Biden’s team said they would veto if it passed the house and the senate.

Well, it did, with bi-partisan support.

Over to you Biden…?

It has been argued that this sudden shift on ETH was not political, but when you consider this isn’t an election that Democrats appear to be winning, with swing states all leaning toward Trump…EVERY vote counts

It appears to be a massive own goal for Democrats who are winning ZERO votes by fighting crypto and are losing swathes of eligible voters with their hostility

The GOP rightly have positioned themselves as the Crypto party to win free votes.

Then, suddenly…

Coincidence? I’ll leave that up to you to decide.

Bitcoin and Crypto appear to be shaping arguably the most important election in the world.

The SEC already lost their legal footing in court and the White House is in damage Control.

Game Over.
