Balancing a Tailored Profit Portfolio: The 3 Risk Profiles!

The start to 2025 has been better than expected. There’s not been a sell the news event after Trump officially took the US reins. The inflation came in a little high as expected and interest rates stayed constant. These were all factors that I spoke about in last month's portfolio balancing release that may have had a negative impact on the crypto market.

So what does this mean then….

Well, the demand simply is there. Bitcoin had a dip below the $100K USD level for just under 12 hours before it resumed its upward march. In the image below, it highlights Bitcoins dominance, which currently sits at 59.73% of the entire crypto market cap, up 3% over January.

Whilst impatient investors speculate in higher risk alts, Bitcoin continues to outperform.

This is exactly why Sam recently released our most effective strategy in a January edition… Watching the Bitcoin pairs. Quite simply, if it’s not beating Bitcoin, why hold it! This will likely change at some point as alts start to make their move as the risk appetite changes and the Bitcoin Dominance starts to rollover and follow the green arrow down… But until then, capital preservation is key…. Be heavily allocated to the king, Bitcoin.
