Bitcoin did it - $100,000 USD per coin

Does it feel a bit…meh?

Perhaps, I’m speaking from personal experience.

Having been an investor in Bitcoin since 2017, $100,000 USD has always felt inevitable, and while it is pleasing that it actually got here, I think we have so much further to go in 2025 and maybe that says something about sentiment up here. No one really cares, which is a good sign that we are nowhere near the top.

This week I finished a 63 page Trends Report for 2025 which I’m super excited to release soon - and there are a few topics I want to cover this this edition for the short term outlook

So let’s get started…

In our Mastermind Bi-weekly session this week we highlighted the current Macro environment and why we are defensive into Xmas.

BITCOIN IS STILL KING

And that isn’t changing just yet. We sit in a market desperately hoping for a major altcoin run while the majority of BIG capital is happy buying and sitting in Bitcoin for a potential BSR (BTC Strategic Reserve) announcement in January.

Altcoins saw a purple patch at the start of December but since then, (BTC.D) Bitcoin Dominance has almost recovered its losses. Meaning: investors made some quick gains and then took profits back into Bitcoin.

Right now, we are looking for either a lower high or a push through 61%.

My bet is that BTC continues higher as the market goes defensive in the near term.

The 2025 path is very bullish, but the data tells us that a cautious mindset in the short term is wise.
