Illiquid Ideas – CCI Airdrop and Token Generation Event Guide

After one of the bloodiest days we have witnessed in global markets, we are currently in peak fear without a clear sign as to how deep the capitulation will go. 

While portfolios are in the red, many are taking the opportunity to touch grass. But since our risk management strategies have already been engaged and we are prompted to hold our breaths leading into the US election in November, this is a good opportunity to explore projects that are offering airdrops and are yet to have their token generation event (TGE).

The market likes new and shiny things, and some of these projects under development may have their time in the spotlight when positive sentiment returns to the market.

While some have been hit and miss, and others like ZRO and ZK were underwhelming since they went extreme on sybil filtering, they remain solid investments that seek to solve scalability and interoperability respectively. Following their TGE’s, and leading up to future vested token unlocks, they present strong investment opportunities that align with favored narratives.

In this edition, we focus on TGE opportunities for products that unlock entirely new use cases in cryptocurrency and mitigate many of the economic risks that come from aggressively chasing airdrops.
