What a difference a month makes!

This time last month we were contemplating WW3 and how to war-proof your portfolio in a sea of turbulence…

Now, we sit in price discovery on Bitcoin. WOW!

Hopefully you took value from our positive grounded outlook. I'll gladly welcome the bullish altcoin market taking shape in July.

Now, let’s get into the good stuff. Altcoins are absolutely on fire!

As always I want to provide some perspective…

🔥 Just how HOT are we?

Altseason Index suggests we are in the early stages of an Altcoin blitz with just 31% of the top 200 coins outperforming BTC over a 90-day period.

We are only luke-warm. This is good.

This statistic is essential for gauging the speculative tolerance of investors and higher prices on alts.

A near term comparison to the Nov/Dec 2024 Trump pump shows us we are well below elevated levels. Readings of 75 + are when alts are in money making mode, but it can be fleeting.

Action step: In contrast to the now, which is a positional phase, at more elevated levels it is time to think about exiting rather than going harder. Sorry degens.

Technically speaking, 83% of the Top Alts are now trending above their 50 Day Moving Average, telling us they are strengthening.

The core signal for sustained upside is the 40% now above their 200 Day Moving average. “Nothing good happens under the 200 Day SMA” so when this is reclaimed, the assets move into a bullish phase. Pay special attention to the alts above their 200 for optimal portfolio balancing.

Action step: Those under the 200 in your portfolio will need special attention. Weakness may continue throughout the cycle. Back strength to avoid duds and poor results!  

One of the most hated and overlooked charts for major Altcoin moves is ETH/BTC.

The Monthly cycle appears bottomed and it’s likely beginning its run.

Any move in ETH, due to its weight in Marketcap, will see Bitcoin Dominance fall and drive speculation into alts. It’s not the only factor but we think ETH is just warming up and the reaction across the market to ETH is obvious.

Action Step: avoid ETH at your peril. Most investors are chronically underweight the sleeping giant so benchmarking high cap alts against it and BTC is essential to make sure you’re not getting outperformed by the 2nd lowest risk asset in Crypto.

OTHERS illustrates the lag of assets outside the Top 10.

But don’t worry, this is actually a good sign.

These are the coins that run when the cycle is toward the back end so if you’ve been following our content you’ll know that the top end of town is where you need to be mostly weighted for now. Flows will come for these later and I prefer to wait for confirmation.

The true MANIA phase begins when we break the prior cycle All Time Highs above $500b. Action Step: go easy on high risk. There is a time to go offensive in the super spec but we just aren’t there yet. Protect your capital at all costs.

We're seeing explosive moves, and my analysis shows a key altcoins primed for significant gains. Following on the theme above, we are looking for lower risk higher conviction options.

Forget the FOMO – this is about calculated entry points based on a proven strategy. This isn't just hype; this is intelligent, data-driven opportunity knocking.
