We are heading away on our annual CCI Koh Samui investor retreat, and before I do, I want to do something I think every analyst worth listening to should be willing to do: put my flag in the ground.

It's easy to talk in "maybes" and "could go either way." It's harder to say this is what I think happens and let the market prove you right or wrong. So that's what this edition is. Six calls for the back half of 2026 — some macro, some cheeky, all of them things I'm genuinely willing to be held to when I get back.

A word on what these are and aren't. I'm not selling you certainty. Nobody has a crystal ball, and anyone who hands you a price and a date with a bow on it is guessing dressed up as gospel. These are my ideas — the direction I think things break, and the conditions I'm watching to confirm it. Think of it as my scorecard. Screenshot it. Hold me to it.
